Tree Save and EPA standards
We are learning as we go- and we also will share with you so you also get the information you need. There is a strict state wide policy on cutting down trees 25 feet from the shoreline. Cobb County's EPA department has a say in this matter as well. Please understand that the HOA strives to be in line with these standards. This protects the home values, the lake/storm water and the wildlife in this area to have buffers (this was explained to us today). Permits from the county are required before removing anything larger than 3 inches in diameter unless its leaning or dead. Thanks and make this note prior to an ARC request in that area. Thanks everyone! CLHOA BOD

Playground climber on the way!
Hello Community! We have ordered the geodome climber for the playground. This was a voted upon item from October. Now that almost every single homeowner has paid the yearly dues- we felt comfortable to make the purchase. We will ask for Dads to come help assemble this for us on community clean up day this March! Super happy for the neighborhood children to have a new playground element! Thank you for your help in getting yet ANOTHER improvement goal met! Great work!!!! CLHOA BOD

Please- no parking on the sidewalks
Hello Community! We have seen different cars parking on the sidewalks lately. This is not allowed so that those walking are not blocked from safety. Please park on the street in the same direction as traffic or in the driveway. Many thanks! CLHOA BOD

Speed Trailer is on the way!
Hello Community~! We have been looking into ways to keep our elderly, children, and pets safe but we continue to see speeding by residents as well as delivery services. Since we are committed to finding ways to combat this issue- Cobb County will be dropping off a speed trailer in the coming weeks so that we can collect data. Please- drive 25mph or under so that we can respect and protect the neighbors who are most vulnerable. Thank you for your help! CLHOA BOD
